The Mediation / Disciplinary Sub-committee is to encourage members to adopt the APSC recommended standard process in handling grievances. In particular, for the schools to approach APSC to internally review the case before referring the disputes to CASE or STB. In alleviating misunderstanding, schools should consider industry standard practices on refund policies and student payment / fees collection.

The role is to foster professional conduct and practices, integrity and fair play through self-regulation, peer mediation and conflict management.
